The mission of The Steeplechase Cancer Center is to provide comprehensive cancer services of the highest quality within a calm, compassionate, patient-focused environment.

Our three-story, 63,000-square-foot outpatient facility - set to open in early January - will include the latest technologies to treat cancer and help patients regain control of their health. While the center’s amenities will continue to evolve, the goal is to create a rich, supportive facility for patients and their families.

In addition to our state-of-the-art radiation oncology services and the award-winning sanofi-aventis Breast Care Program, The Steeplechase Cancer Center also will house Somerset Medical Center’s new outpatient infusion therapy center, among other amenities.

Each patient’s plan of care will be guided by a multidisciplinary team of medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists, breast care specialists, certified oncology nurses, social workers, case managers, nutritionists, pharmacists and pastoral care staff.

Conveniently located off routes 78, 287 and 22, The Steeplechase Cancer Center is connected by an enclosed bridge to Somerset Medical Center, a full-service hospital that can address other medical needs should they arise during the course of regular cancer treatment.

Patients requiring hospitalization will be cared for by highly skilled oncology nurses on the Paul R. Nardoni Oncology Pavilion, which opened in 2005.

Dedicated to all cancer survivors…your strength, courage and spirit give hope and inspiration to others who share the same experience.
